Madison County Farmers Market

The first 2026 official season Farmers Market starts Saturday, May 9th, on the Madison County Courthouse lawn in Winterset and runs every Saturday from 8 am to noon through October 3rd.

Enjoy a food truck, Kara Christensen playing live music, and kids' activities in addition to dozens of vendors on opening day!

The Madison County Farmer’s Market has been a beloved tradition in Winterset, Iowa. The market is going into its 33rd season in 2026. As an unincorporated non-profit association, our mission is to support local farmers, artisans, and small businesses while giving back to the community we call home.
