Paint Madison County (A Plein Air Festival)

Join us for our 2nd annual Paint Madison County event on Sunday, September 22nd ! Artists will create artwork in the open air and showcase the hidden gems of Madison County. The public is invited to watch our artists create their masterpieces between 9 am-1 pm at the following locations (click for downloadable map):

Covered Bridges Winery
Lone Oak Farms/Speckled Hen Farms
Earlham Main Street
Badger Creek State Park
North River School Street
Hogback Bridge
Cedar Bridge
Goeldner Woods
Reynolds Barn: 1975 120th St. Earlham
Buffalo Prairie (Private farm in Dexter)

*Please note: Artists will be encouraged to paint/create wherever they feel called to. The Paint Madison County committee cannot guarantee an artist will be at every site at all hours.

End the night with the artists at Covered Bridges Winery from 4-7 pm. The artists will showcase the artwork they created throughout the day and YOU can purchase it to take it home that evening! General Lee's Smoke Shack food truck will be serving food, and Ryne Doughty will be the evening's live entertainment.

Judging for the artists will end at 5:00 pm and awards will be announced shortly after.

This year we are excited to welcome a youth division for Paint Madison County! Youth artists will also be creating artwork at the same locations and have their artwork for sale at the evening reception. Come out and support the Madison County Chamber and the local arts!
