Cedar Shake Farm

Cedar Shake Farm is committed to providing locally-grown produce and flowers using sustainable and organic practices. We are not certified organic; however, we strive to provide quality products while following those same practices. We use crop rotation as well as succession planting to provide a bountiful plethora of produce and flowers for your needs.

Cedar Shake Farm has produce and flower CSAs available for customers in Winterset and West Des Moines. (CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture.) Think of it as a subscription box, but with delicious, locally-grown produce and/or beautiful flowers!

You can also find Cedar Shake Farm each Saturday morning at the Madison County Farmers Market in Winterset from May to October. Farm visits are only open to the public during select events, such as the annual Madison County Fall Crawl in September. Clinton and Kelli also offer occasional classes.
