McFable Farm

A care farm providing a safe environment for youth and adults to decompress and focus on self-care. Our primary focus is on our most at risk community members – our youth and our elderly – experiencing anxiety, depression, or hopelessness.

McFable Farm was founded in 2021 by Michelle and Terry McNamara. Although it started out as a small hobby farm with 4 friendly goats, it quickly grew into much more!

Not long after acquiring the farm, Michelle visited the local hospice care center and realized that the farm could be much more than a hobby farm. It had potential to provide a safe environment for individuals, and their families, facing end-of-life challenges to decompress and experience joy. A few quick phone calls, paired with a lifelong passion for helping others and a drive to provide support to individuals facing emotional challenges, Michelle’s hobby farm quickly evolved into a care farm, not just for hospice care patients, but for all individuals facing anxiety, depression, or hopelessness. 

In March 2023, McFable Farm officially became a registered non-profit care farm, ready to provide the community with a place to lay down their worries for a few moments and engage in positive, physical and mental self-care activities!

McFable Farm offers a variety of options for interactions with our animals, including mobile visits, onsite/farm visits, team building experiences, and special events throughout the year such as a Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt. Contact them directly to schedule an experience.
