The Winterset Stage

The Winterset Stage brings live theatre to the heart of Iowa. Their goal is to build community through the arts to entertain, enrich, and provide avenues of development for artists of all ages.

The Main Stage Season features quality productions of well-loved plays and musicals guaranteed to make your time at The Winterset Stage an enjoyable event. They combine both local and non-local actors to allow both seasoned professionals and up-and-coming artists to work hand-in-hand. Most productions take place at the Iowa Theater, but occasionally their shows are staged at alternate locations. 

The Winterset Stage also offers educational opportunities for youth. With both performance-based and skill-based programs, youth of all abilities and backgrounds find a place to belong and grow. A range of classes, workshops, and camps are intended to foster appreciation and understanding of the arts for students of all ages.
