Winterset Ballet & Dance

Winterset Ballet and Dance Studio offers instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, modern, and acrodance for ages 2 and up. Summer camps, intensives, and workshops are also offered throughout the year.  

Winterset Ballet and Dance Studio has three productions a year. These are open to the public with reserved seating tickets available online. 

Every spring, a new ballet is produced for ballet students, as well as a themed performance for dancers in tap, jazz, hip-hop, and modern. This performance weekend has various shows to choose from, including one show showcasing the littlest dancers, the Twinkle Babies, and Dads joining their daughters in a Daddy Daughter Dance.

Every summer, ballet dancers take to the stage at the Iowa Theater to perform A Midsummer Night's Dream. This performance is a benefit to help support our local non-profit theater!

Finally, every holiday season ballet dancers once again perform at the Iowa Theater to bring the story of The Nutcracker to life! This run of shows includes varying casts to help give all ballet dancers a chance to be a part of this annual tradition.
