We are The Rouws (Verlan, Mary Ann, Rod, Lisa, Jared, Emilie , Cody and Rylie), owners and operators of Sunny Acres Campground. Sunny Acres Campground is located in the heart of Madison County, Iowa, home of John Wayne and the Bridges of Madison County. Owning a campground has been a dream of Verlan’s for over 30 years. With the purchase of a farm in 2013, it became the perfect place to farm and put a campground. Sunny Acres Campground gives the unique experience of being on our family farm where you will find us planting in the spring and harvesting in the fall. We are very excited to provide you and your family a memorable camping experience for many years to come.
